Before any concrete is mixed, the space is measured and a template is made. The sink opening, cooktop cut-out, edge profile and any seams are all marked on that template so the forms can be built to match your cabinets exactly.
This approach means an indoor kitchen countertop wraps an island or runs the perimeter with no visible seam, and an outdoor bar counter can be shaped around a grill or beverage station without any trimming after the pour.
Once cast and cured, the slab is ground and sealed using the same finishing techniques we apply to our epoxy garage floors and stamped patios. The result is a durable, sealed surface ready for daily use.

Measure and template
Cabinets or base surfaces are measured, a template is made, and the edge profile, finish, colour and all cut-out locations are confirmed with you.
Fabricate custom forms
Forms are built to the template with reinforcement placed to prevent cracking across the span. Cut-outs are blocked out and the forms are sealed.
Pour and cure the slab
Concrete is placed, vibrated to remove air pockets, and left to cure. Depending on size and access, this happens in our shop or on-site.
Finish, seal and set
The surface is ground to the finish you chose, sealed against stains and heat, and installed level on the cabinets or base.

Sealed concrete resists stains and heat well and is harder than it looks, but like any counter it is not indestructible. We seal it properly and give you the simple care steps that keep it looking new for years.
